Papal Panel Discussion

What is the meaning of Benedict XVI’s resignation and legacy? What kind of person might be the next pope? What kind of challenges will confront the next pontiff and the Church?
Panel discussion moderated by Dr. Judy Raggi-Moore, Directory of Catholic Studies Minor.

Panelists include:

Dr. Cory Labrecque is a Catholic ethicist and the Raymond F. Schinazi Scholar in Bioethics and Religious Thought at Emory University’s Center for Ethics.

Dr. Steffen Lösel is an associate professor in systematic theology in the Candler School of Theology. He has written on the Catholic theologian, Hans Urs Von Balthasar and St. Therese of Lisieux.

Dr. Phillip M. Thompson is the Executive Director of the Aquinas Center of Theology at Emory University.
